Helpful Tips
- Download the Self-Help Federal CU Mobile Banking app (be sure to look for the orange icon shown above).
- Make sure the check is endorsed “for mobile deposit only” before taking the photos.
- Place the check flat on a dark colored surface that’s not reflective and is well lit.
- Position your mobile device’s camera directly over the check (not at an angle), fitting all 4 corners into the photo.
- Avoid shadows.
- Retain the check for at least 60 calendar days from the date of the image transmission. After 60 days, destroy the check (preferably with a shredding machine) or mark it "VOID.”

** Mobile Deposit cannot be used on Blackberry phones.
